Networking

This is a professional event with some of UT’s finest engineers. The entire event is built around the concept of continuing to improve the networking that occurs between industry and high caliber graduate students. Graduate Engineering Students are focused, ambitious, go-getters who come to UT to both challenge their skills and hone their knowhow. They are far more mature than the average bachelor’s degree holder as many of them have spent time in industry themselves.

We are seeking knowledgeable industry representatives that can appreciate the scope of understanding and innovation that our students bring to the table. This is an awesome opportunity for recruiters and industry representatives to ask hard questions and expect great answers.

Students, this is an opportunity for you to shine and sell yourself. You will have the chance to both showcase your hard work and to meet the people and companies who matter. We had a great showing of student and industry participation last year. This year, we are expecting an even better turnout.

In addition to the times that representatives will have to meet the students and learn about their work throughout the event, there will also be a networking hour devoted solely to one-on-one time between industry representatives and the students. We encourage each sponsor to take full advantage of this portion of the event. Sponsors, this is your time to shine.
Networking Hour: 2.30pm - 3.30pm

This will be a rather relaxed hour to talk to students and industry representatives will be provided with a table where they may set up information about their company. Please bring information regarding your company, feel free to bring brochures, table top displays, and this is your hour to meet and greet the students with whom you will be visiting. Refreshments will be available.
